Talent Bios
Christopher M. Allport, tenor, has been performing in major stage venues, television and feature films since the age of seven.  Christopher’s Cabaret Collective is made up of some of the finest musicians in the city, of whom he is proud to share with local audiences.
As a featured or headlining vocalist, Christopher’s credits include the Disney American Teacher Awards (Pantages Theater), The People’s Choice Awards (Paramount Studios), Barbra Streisand’s Timeless (Staples Center Los Angeles), Pasadena Symphony’s Romeo and Juliet (Pasadena Civic Auditorium), Los Angeles Philharmonic’s production of Wellington’s Victory March (Hollwood Bowl).
This summer, Christopher will star in a review of Phantom of the Opera, at Teatro San Gallo in Venice, Italy.  He has sung on such film soundtracks as Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Mr. Holland’s Opus, The Mighty Ducks  and Steven Spielberg’s epic Hook.  He has also been the character voice of Casper the Friendly Ghost, Tootles the Lost Boy (Peter Pan & the Pirates) as well as one of the voices of Binx the Cat in Disney’s Hocus Pocus.
Christopher’s performances have been well received on three continents: America, Africa and Europe.  He premiered the Ubi Caritas of renowned chorale composer Morten Lauridsen.  As an actor, Christopher lit up the stage once again in New York City, starring as dashing, bohemian Prince Florizel in Shakespeare’s Winter’s Tale.  Recently Christopher recorded a new musical entitled House of Finnigan, by Steve Kopandy, Bonnie Janofsky & Bill Rich.
When Chris isn’t singing, he loves spending time with his most supportive parents and grandparents and enjoys road biking and restoring antique cars.

Sarah Block is delighted to join the Chris M. Allport Cabaret Collective for the Collective's Debut at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's.  A natural and energetic talent, Sarah has performed in numerous musicals.

Aurelien Eulert, pianist, is an active soloist and collaborative performer in the United States and all over Europe.  Born and raised in Alsace, France, Aurelien entered the Conservatoire National de Musique de Strasbourg at age 9. Offered a full scholarship and a teaching assistantship at Syracuse University’s Setnor School of Music, NY, Aurelien left France to pursue his Master’s of Music in Piano Performance in the studio of Fred Karpoff. After his graduation from the program, Aurelien moved to California to continue his education in the studio of Kevin Fitz-Gerald at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California. Aurelien has also enjoyed the teaching and influence of renowned artists such as Jon Nakamatsu, Christopher O’Riley, Peter Serkin, Leon Fleisher and Earl Wild.

In 2002 he founded Duo Aura with flutist Razika Djoudi, which has toured extensively in France, Germany and the US. He has held a collaborative pianist position at the French flute summer festival Flutissimo since its creation in 2005, where he works and performs with Flute principals of Europe’s finest orchestras and soloists like Michel Debost, Patrick Gallois, Andras Adorjan or Pierre-Yves Artaud. Last October, Aurelien was invited to perform a series of flute and piano recitals in Oklahoma and Texas, touring for a week of performances from Tulsa and Oklahoma City to Dallas. At Thornton, he is currently appointed studio pianist in the studio of James Walker.

Aurelien has had extensive experience with the vocal repertoire, having coached and performed with singers for many years. He has worked with eminent teachers and performers such as Phyllis Curtin, Dawn Upshaw, Stephanie Blythe, Stephen Smith, Elizabeth Hynes and Eric Halfvarson, performs regularly with international opera star Rod Gilfry, and has also served as musical director for the Chamber Opera of USC program since 2008. Aurelien has also performed many times as orchestral piano and celesta player in various professional and university orchestras, under the baton of conductors such as Stefan Asbury, Carl St-Clair and internationally acclaimed film composer John Williams. Most recent engagements include performances with the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, the Downey Symphony and the Burbank Philharmonic.

Aurelien also records as a studio pianist for movie soundtracks, and has been featured on more than twenty different films. His performances at Thornton have often been featured on the Greater Los Angeles area radio station KUSC.  After completing his Graduate Certificate in Piano Performance at Thornton, Aurelien started his Doctor of Musical Arts degree, majoring in Keyboard Collaborative Arts, and was awarded a full scholarship and a Teaching Assistant position.

This summer, Aurelien attended the Tanglewood Music Center festival as a piano fellow and performed numerous concerts at Seiji Ozawa Hall, notably a Bach Cantata on organ under John Harbison and Copland’s Third Symphony under Robert Spano. He also worked as rehearsal pianist for the American premiere of Elliott Carter’s new work “What Are Years” and played in the pit for Oliver Knussen’s opera “Where the Wild Things Are”.

Following the encouraging success of his debut as musical director and band leader at the 2010 Gala Concert last January, Aurelien is thrilled to be part of the newest Allport Productions Cabaret Collective project!
