Chris M. Allport grew up in the heart of Hollywood with the satiric influences of legendary radio advertising genius, Stan Freberg — constantly spinning at 33 and 1/3 RPMs. This kid drove his parents nuts, with his voice in cosnstant parody. By the ripe old age of nine, Allport had already been directed by Mr. Freberg in a series of radio commercials, that opened up industry doors for the boy who wouldn’t shut up. Admittedly, young Allport loved the sound of his voice. He was encouraged and mentored by many old-Hollywood veterans, including Jeanne Russell, Alan Young, Gigi Perreau, Ginny Tyler, and Paul Petersen, all of whom had a strong hand in forming Allport’s career.
