Please come prepared with the following:
1) 2 vocal selections
2) 3 copies of the sheet music for each selection in the correct key
3) have your selection memorized and ready to perform, so we can really work the details
4) voice recorder (iPhone, etc.) so you can record your work
5) pencil
6) notebook
7) open mind
8) open heart
Notes:
Your selection should be from the standard broadway, standard opera, or standard jazz repertoire and an appropriate role for your voice type. We will NOT work original compositions or top-40 pieces in this class, as the goal of the class is to focus on standard rep. to win auditions.
This is a professional workshop and work and a fast pace. If you are not prepared with all of the tools and formats above, you will be an auditor in the class, and forfeit working with the accompanist.
Please arrive 10 minutes early. The workshop will begin promptly at 7pm and conclude promptly at 10pm.
